Well, Birds of Prey ( and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn ) was a major disappointment, on so many levels. The story line was nothing short of horrible, and the fight scenes were choreographed so poorly that even 60’s martial art movie buffs would be embarrassed by them.

Essentially they took a character that had already made some headway with audiences in Suicide Squad and made a stupid messed up, poorly written, and badly directed, movie that made little to no sense. I should have listened to my daughter, who went to see the movie at the theater, when she told me not to waste my money buying the movie. I bought it, and she was right.

Whatever possessed the Studios to go ahead with this amazes me. It seems to me that with the popularity of the character there was so many ways to do this and they took the worst route possible. The only positive thing I can say about this movie was the casting, it was spot on. Too bad they didn’t have a better script to work with.
