Floyd Mayweather went 50-0 in his stellar career and is arguably the greatest pound-for-pound boxer who has ever lived. Don Moore, an ex-sparring partner thinks he can be the one. The fight was supposed to take place today on top of 700ft Burj Al Arab hotel in Dubai, however the exhibition fight in Dubai is CANCELLED following the death of UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed.
The former five-weight world champion had spent this week in Dubai promoting the fight, but will now have to wait for his third exhibition fight since his retirement five years ago. His final professional fight was beating UFC star Conor McGregor.
The fight against Moore would have no impact on his professional career. So all the bravado spilling from Moore is nothing more than wasted hot air. In his two previous exhibition matches Mayweather defeated featherweight kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa in the first round just a year after retiring. Then Mayweather faced YouTube star Logan Paul in an exhibition bout last June, but no winner was announced.
