The Best Android Phones For Gaming

These days, more people than ever are gaming on their smartphones rather than on consoles of PCs. Its no surprise either as the technology involved in developing smartphones has advanced over recent times; it has meant the lines between gaming on consoles and smartphones are becoming increasingly blurred. In line with the advancements in hardware, the content that is being produced has come on leaps and bounds too. So which Android based smartphones should people be buying, if theyre keen mobile gamers and why?

Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+

When it comes to gaming on Android, if people can afford an elite handset, these are the top two by far. The S8 is the best Android phone on the market full stop and when it comes to gaming, its in a league of its own too. The S8+ offers those looking for a bigger screen for gaming an option, but its under the hood where these handsets come to life.

The Galaxy S7, the S8s predecessor, had gaming software features but theyve been completely revamped with players now able to activate Game Mode; and this comes with the Game Launcher and Game tools. The screens are AMOLED Infinity Display with a better quality visuals than that of QHD. The processor means games means even the most demanding games run effortlessly and the batteries have been improved so players can game for longer.

Samsung Galaxy S7

The S7 is the S8s predecessor but its by no means on the scrap heap. In fact, its still one of the finest Android based smartphones when it comes to gaming. Its capable of producing stunning graphics on its 5.1 inch Super AMOLED screen that has a QHD resolution. The processor has a staggering 8 cores meaning every game will run smoothly, especially with 4 BG of RAM included. The S7 was the first to pioneer the Game Launcher and this gaming centre works well on what is still an elite phone by Samsung. So much so that even gaming apps perform smoothly via this handset, perfect example being the Unibet Casino app.

One Plus 5

There was a lot of hype surrounding the One Plus 5 when it hit the market, and it certainly impresses as a gaming device. It stands head and shoulders above the rest of the competition, even the S8, when it comes to power. With two versions of the phone, one including 6 GB of RAM and the other 8 GB, it has the most gaming power around. One Plus also took gaming into consideration as they included a Do Not Disturb mode that players can use while gaming, and a dash charge option which will charge the phone faster while users are playing their favourite games. The display is full HD and the battery is slightly larger in capacity than the S8, meaning people can play for that bit longer.

Moto Z2 Play

The Moto Z2 is a handset that people will probably class as a mid-range phone, but its a device designed for gaming. Motorolas Z range has always impressed when it comes to providing a quality gaming experience, and it doesnt disappoint here either. It has a battery with the same capacity as the S8, 3000 mAh. The processor is quick and theres 4GB of RAM which is plenty.

What kind of sets the Z2 Play apart is that there are mods which will further enhance the gaming experience. Players can buy extra power packs, as well as a gamepad that will allow people to use console-esque controls while playing their favourite mobile games.
